If I found a hundred dollar bill just randomly on the ground I would keep it, but if I sat there and watched it fall of a persons pocket then I would return it.  I would not want people to be convinced that I just pretty much stole a big wad of money.  I f i saw it fall I would be a decent person and return it, but in the end it is finders keepers, losers weepers.
