My New Years Resolutions are to stop yelling at my sister less, to be a better person, and to get 90’s on my starr tests.

Christmas is over and you probably have all your presents.  Which one was your favorite?  Mine was my Wii !  The next thing is your favorite Christmas tradition?  Mine is sitting around my Papa and Grandmommy’s living room floor with 40 of my family members and opening on present at a time going around the room.  The whole ordeal takes at least 5 hours!!!

The best thing that happened to me in 2011 was when I was placed in Mrs. Ganongs 5th grade class.  This New year I hope that nothing bad happens to my family and friends.  My new year resolution for school is to work harder and not be as distracted from what i really am here for.  My new years resolution for home is to be a better example.  I can get caught up in the reasons why I need a cellphone and that I need a new pair of jeans, but i really need to be focusing on acting right in front of my brother and sister.

Ok.  We all know Christmas is coming soon and hopefully we have all made our wishlist.  What I would like you to do is tell me what you want for Christmas.

Hunger: A craving or urgent need for food or specific nutrition.

We have all heard of it, but we all try to avoid it. There are few who try to fight it. They do not compare to spiderman or superman. One group of people who are trying to fight it are Christians Fighting World Hunger. Many buisnesses such as Chase bank and many others are helping by donating thousands of dollars. In 2010 there where 925 million people who were hungry and homeless. Something humans should never have to feel in there livdes. The main reason of hunger is poverty.

Poverty: The state of being extremely poor.

There are lots of people that try to help. But in the ecosystem we live in some gotta win some gotta lose. They are the ones that lost.

Just as Mom was taking out the turkey, the unbelievable happened . . . IT WAS BURNT!!!!!!  When Mom freaks out, I freak out, when I freak out,my sister  freaks out.  That was definitively a house of SCARY people!!!  Dad calmed us all down and said ” Lets go get another turkey!”.  Mom said ” Its 1:05!!! We cannot get another turkey!” “Well we are gonna have to!!” Dad yelled.  ” We can’t”.  Thta was just about about when i walked out.  I mean we all know how that one will end.  Mom versus dad equals mom wins.  That is when I put my creative mind to work.  What if I went and got a frozen turkey and threw it onto the grill.  Only one problemo I AM TENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!  Time to call in superdad.  “Daddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd”  “What” he replied.  ” I have an idea” He was in there faster then when I called him in.  ” I am all ears” he said.  ” We go to the store, get a ten mimiute turkey and throw it in the microwave.”  We thought everyone would be mad because they were having microwave dinners for Thanksgiving, but they were thankful they were even having turkey.  Anyways that is what thanksgiving ids all about right
